Ewangelia Mateusza 13,15

15 Utyło bowiem serce tego ludu, stępiały ich uszy i zamknęli swe oczy, żeby przypadkiem oczami nie widzieli ani uszami nie słyszeli, a sercem nie zrozumieli i nie nawrócili się, i żebym ich nie uzdrowił.

15 Bo utuczyło się serce tego ludu, a uszami z trudem usłyszeli, a oczy swoje zmrużyli, żeby czasem oczami nie widzieli, i uszami nie słyszeli, i sercem nie zrozumieli, i nie nawrócili się, a ja żebym ich nie uzdrowił.

15 ἐπαχύνθη γὰρ ἡ καρδία τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου, καὶ τοῖς ὠσὶ βαρέως ἤκουσαν, καὶ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτῶν ἐκάμμυσαν· μήποτε ἴδωσι τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς, καὶ τοῖς ὠσὶν ἀκούσωσι, καὶ τῇ καρδίᾳ συνῶσι, καὶ ἐπιστρέψωσι, καὶ ἰάσωμαι αὐτούς.

15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
